Djinadon wants to create a forum where there is scope for meaningful music making in an environment that promotes genuineness, community and individual development in a collective context. To accomplish this, they start Europe’s first traditional school for Malinké music. They will invite guest lecturers, musicians and dancers from West Africa and involve 6-8 students per year in an intensive apprenticeship project. Th eschool will also be a breeding ground for genre-breaking art, music, dance, film and educational projects.
